Projects
Turning curiosity into projects.
TCK Mind Space began with a simple question: what happens to our sense of identity and belonging when we grow up between cultures?
Since then, I have explored that question through writing, independent research, interviews, community projects, and technology.
These projects reflect my interests in psychology, anthropology, culture, identity, and the ways technology can help people navigate the world around them.

TCK Mind Space
Exploring identity, belonging, and life between cultures
TCK Mind Space is an independent student-led platform exploring the experiences of Third Culture Kids and internationally mobile teenagers.
Through articles, personal reflections, interviews, and research-informed content, I explore questions around identity, belonging, cultural adaptation, language, mental wellbeing, and what it means to grow up between different cultures.
The project grew from my own experience as a Third Culture Kid and developed into a broader exploration of how culture shapes the way we understand ourselves and the world around us.

Understanding TCKs in Dubai
n independent questionnaire exploring the experiences of Third Culture Kids
I created an anonymous questionnaire to better understand the experiences of teenagers growing up as Third Culture Kids in Dubai.
The project explores questions such as:
-
How do TCKs define home?
-
Does moving between countries affect their sense of identity?
-
How do they experience friendship and belonging?
-
What are the emotional challenges of constantly adapting to new environments?
-
What advice would they give to other students moving abroad?
The goal is to listen to young people’s experiences and identify common themes that can inform future writing and projects on TCK identity, cultural adaptation, and wellbeing.
Focus: Independent Research · Psychology · Anthropology · TCK Identity
Method: Anonymous questionnaire and qualitative reflection
This is an independent student project and is not clinical or medical research.

TCK Voices
Stories from teenagers growing up between cultures
TCK Voices is a collection of personal stories from young people who have experienced life between cultures.
The project creates a space for teenagers to reflect on moving countries, adapting to new environments, finding community, navigating identity, and deciding what “home” means to them.
Contributors can choose whether to share their experiences anonymously or with their name.
By bringing together different perspectives, the project explores how varied the TCK experience can be and how individual stories can reveal broader questions about culture, identity, and belonging.

Serenity App
A digital wellbeing space designed to encourage self-reflection and emotional awareness
Serenity is a student-created digital wellbeing app designed to help users develop greater awareness of their emotions and daily wellbeing.
The app brings together several tools in one space, including a mood tracker, personal journal, music-based mood support, wellbeing articles, and an interactive chat companion.
I created Serenity to explore how technology could be used not simply to provide information about mental wellbeing, but to encourage everyday habits of self-reflection, emotional awareness, and personal expression.
The project grew from my interest in psychology and from exploring how young people can use digital tools to better understand and reflect on their own experiences.
Rather than presenting Serenity as a substitute for professional mental health care, the app is designed as a personal reflection and wellbeing tool.
