Welcome to TCK Mind Space
Hi, I’m Giulia Tricamo. I'm a high school student, a Third-Culture Kid, and someone who’s always lived between cultures. I was born in the U.S., my parents are Italian, and I’ve grown up in Dubai.
After moving countries and schools, I’ve often struggled to answer the question “Where are you from?” I realized that I wasn’t the only one who felt this way—and that many of us, especially expat teens, experience the same mix of identity, confusion, and growth.
That’s why I created TCK Mind Space.
It’s a digital journal for teens like me who are growing up between worlds. A place to talk about mental health, identity, and how our environment shapes the way we see ourselves.
I’m also curious about anthropology—the study of cultures, people, and how we live together. This blog is a way for me to explore the stories of Third Culture Kids through that lens: to notice the little things, understand the big things, and reflect on how moving and adapting changes us.
If you’ve ever felt “in between,” this space is for you.
Let’s explore what it means to belong, to change, and to grow—together.
💛
Giulia
